MVC With Fly Out on Whiteleysburg Road

At 2220 hours units were dispatched to the area of 27100 Whiteleysburg Road for a MVC. As units were responding they were advised that the caller reported a truck into a tree with 2 patients with 1 possibly trapped. Officer 615 (House) went O/L and reported 1 truck into a tree with no entrapment. Officer 615 established "Whiteleysburg Road Command." Command then advised that 1 patient had fled the scene and placed Kent County De. PM68 and A-50 in service. Rescue 600 arrived and assisted with patient care, while E-603 handled the LZ. Trooper 6 transported 1 pt to the trauma center. Units operated for approximately 1 hour before clearing at 2315 hours.

Chief House Gets A Visit From The Stork

Today Chief House and his wife Emily had a visit from the stork. Maggie Marie House was born at 1402 hours, weighing 9 lbs. 10 oz. Mother and baby are reported to be doing well and are expected home later this week. Congratulations!!!! |
2 Alarm Field Fire In Goldsboro
September 29, 2007
At 1123 hours units were dispatched on the 2nd alarm to assist Goldsboro with a working field fire on River Bridge Rd. Units arrived and were quickly put to work, Brush 602 and E-604 were detailed to the field to protect the wood line. Tanker 606 was assigned to water supply, and the crew from the Rescue and Utility relieved crews already working. Units put a quick knock on the fire holding it to a loss of approximately 8 acres of cut corn and 1 combine. Good work by all. Officer 718 (Parenteau) had "River Bridge Rd Command" Units operated for approximately 1 hours 30 min before clearing at 1256 hours.
