Easter Starts Off With MVC

At 0748 hours units were dispatched to the area of Greensboro Road and Spring Branch Drive for a MVC with roll over. Chief 6 went O/L and confirmed 1 vehicle off the roadway overturned. Officer 616 (Bambary) established "Greensboro Road Command." Rescue 600 secured the vehicle. while the engine staged. PM 692 handled a patient refusal. Units operated for approximately 30 minutes before clearing the call at 0809 hours.

Friday The 13th Starts Off With MVC

April 13, 2007

At 0126 hours units were dispatched to Greensboro Road in the area of Union Road for a MVC with ejection. Chief 6 went O/l and reported 1 vehicle into a pole with ejection. Officer 618 (Biddle) established "Greensboro Road Command." Rescue 600 was assigned to secure the vehicle and assist PM 692 with patient care, while Engine 603 handled the landing zone. Maryland State Police Trooper 6 transported 1 patient priority 1 to Shock Trauma Center. units operated for approximately 1 hour and 12 minutes before clearing the call at 0238 hours.

Heavy Rain Brings Flooding To The City

April 16, 2007

Since yesterday over 4 inches of rain fell in the area causing the river banks to overflow. As usual our carnival grounds got the worst of it with water just over 3 feet deep throughout the grounds.
